The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on the establishment of the Ministry on temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons. The corresponding resolution was adopted at the Cabinet meeting today, - reports Ukrainski Novyny.
The draft resolution provides for the establishment of this Ministry by merging the State Agency for Donbass Restoration and the State Service on Crimea and Sevastopol annexed by Russia.
Minister on temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons Vadim Chernysh noted that he would be able to proceed directly to the formation of the agency after the adoption of such a decision.
As previously reported, the Verkhovna Rada for new Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Thursday, April 14th. The updated government has a new Ministry on occupied territories and internally displaced persons. It is headed by the head of the Agency for Donbass Restoration Vadim Chernysh.
"The Ministry will deal with issues related to the restoration of Donbass, Crimea, the rights of indigenous peoples, cooperation with Majlis, support of Ukrainians who are on the occupied territories and so on. We plan to cooperate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine very tightly," - said V.Chernysh in his interview to OstroV.
