Evidence of war crimes by the Russian Federation in Donbass in 2014 will be submitted to the International Criminal Court in Hague. It was stated by member of the Polish Parliament, co-author of the report Malgorzata Gosiewska during the presentation of the report "Russian War crimes in the East of Ukraine" in the Verkhovna Rada, - reports RBK-Ukraina.

"I hope that we will submit the collected evidentiary material to the International Criminal Court in The Hague soon," - said Gosiewska and added that the facts of the crime in the report related only to 2014.

It also noted that they interviewed about 60 witnesses who are mentioned in the report under pseudonyms during preparation of the report. The report listed DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko and militant Igor Girkin ( "Strelkov") - the former "Defense Minister of the DPR" as war criminals.

"We showed in our material Russian soldiers involved in the conflict, they're present with heavy military equipment. Officials of Russian secret services were directly involved. We have gathered evidence that some prisoners were held in prisons in the Russian Federation, in particular in Donetsk in Russia (Rostov region - Ed)," - Gosiewska added.

She added that the main message of the report's authors is that war crimes are not subject to the limitation periods and the criminals will be punished. Work on the report continues.
