Vice Prime Minister Rozenko does not agree with the idea of paying pensions to residents of the occupied territories

Vice Prime Minister of Social Affairs Pavel Rozenko does not agree with the idea of ​​the two ministers to resume social benefits to people who live on the uncontrolled territory of Donbass. It is reported by the press service of Rozenko.

"Resumption of social benefits, including pensions on the occupied territories is possible only after the full implementation "of the Minsk agreements" and restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine," - said Rozenko.

It is noted that the social benefits are now paid only to internally displaced persons from uncontrolled territories who permanently live on the territory controlled by Ukraine.

According to him, Ukraine can not carry out social payments on the uncontrolled territory because there are no state structures and no branches of Ukrainian banks work there.

As previously reported, the Minister on temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons Vadim Chernysh said in his interview with Zerkalo Nyedyeli that the state should not stop paying pensions and social assistance to population of Donbass, all citizens of Ukraine have the same rights. Minister of Social Policy Andrey Reva adheres to similar opinion. He believes that the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions have no occupied status at the moment and are an integral part of the territory of Ukraine. Accordingly, its residents are entitled to the payment irrespective of the place of registration.

Chernysh said in his interview with OstroV that the government would resume payment of pensions and social assistance to population of occupied Donbass only after return of the Ukrainian authorities to these territories.
