At least 22 thousand civilians killed in Mariupol – Boychenko

More than 22 thousand Ukrainians died as a result of the siege and assault of Mariupol by russian troops. This is reported by Priamyi with reference to the statement of mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko on June 19.

According to him, this terrible figure of victims among the townspeople is not final.

"The UN is very careful about the number of victims – 1348, but in fact – there are more than 22 thousand victims", - ​​Boychenko emphasized.

Let us recall that Vadym Boychenko stated on June 10 that it was impossible to leave Mariupol for Ukrainian territory, and residents of Mariupol were waiting for a month to leave through the russian federation.
