Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi had a conversation with head of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. He announced this on Telegram on June 12.

"I consider Mark Milley, this person deeply respected by me, as my mentor, I informed and thanked for this", - Zaluzhnyi said.

He said that he briefed General Milley on the current operational situation. Zaluzhnyi emphasized that the enemy concentrated the main efforts in the north of the Luhansk oblast. According to him, the invaders massively use artillery and, unfortunately, it has a tenfold fire advantage.

"But despite everything, we continue to hold our positions. Every meter of Ukrainian land there is watered with blood, and not only ours, but also the occupier's", - the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU noted.

Zaluzhnyi also stressed that the difficult situation is, in particular, in the city of Sievierodonetsk. The enemy transferred 7 battalion tactical groups there. But despite heavy fire, the defenders of Ukraine managed to stop the enemy.

He also noted that as of today, we have a front width of 2 450 km, of which 1 105 km are active hostilities.

Zaluzhnyi once again repeated his request to General Milley - to help Ukraine get more 155 mm artillery systems as soon as possible.

Let us recall that on June 4, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi reported that M109A3 howitzers from Norway were already at the forefront and were destroying the enemy with high accuracy.
