President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law allowing the territorial defense units of the AFU to be sent to the front and perform combat missions there. According to the information on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, the President signed the document on June 10, as evidenced by the data from the bill card No.6521.

Let us recall that usually, fighters of territorial defense perform tasks within the territory of the relevant community.

However, after the entry into force of the new law, the terrorist defense will be able to perform tasks throughout Ukraine, including in areas of warfare and in the occupied territories.

The decision on the implementation of such tasks will be made by the AFU Commander-in-Chief.

Let us recall that on May 3, the Verkhovna Rada adopted bill No.6521, expanding the powers of territorial defense.

Back in April, the terrorist defense fighters were equated by law with the AFU military personnel.
