Zelensky promises that there will be no more shadow economy in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his traditional video address to the people of Ukraine that he intends to eradicate the shadow economy in the country.

According to the head of state, now the country needs regular replenishment of the budget. This requires radical solutions.

"Now there are many discussions in Ukraine about what the economic policy of the state should be like during the war and when we return peace. I want to emphasize one detail. Fundamental one. We should already get used to the fact that there can be only two parts in the society: those who defends our independence and those who work to ensure this protection. This is not a question of this or that economic doctrine, this is not a question of this or that political position. We simply cannot afford to have a shadow part of the economic life", - Volodymyr Zelensky stated.

As previously reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will receive an invitation to the NATO summit, which will be held June 28-30 in Madrid.
