UN Maritime Security Advisor Peter Adams stated that removing sea mines near Ukraine’s key ports could take months, even if it starts immediately. This is reported by Bloomberg.

According to the advisor, even if the ports wanted to reopen tomorrow it would take some time until ships could enter or depart.

"Completely removing sea mines in the port areas would take several months", - Adams stressed.

According to his information, about 80 ships with about 450 sailors remain blocked in Ukrainian ports. About a third of them are from the Philippines, but people from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Syria remain there.

Let us recall that russia has blocked Ukraine’s ports, making it impossible to export grain. The kremlin demands from the world community to remove sanctions from the russian federation in order to avoid a food crisis.
