Peskov states that meeting between Putin and Zelensky is now impossible

Press Secretary of the President of the russian federation Dmitry Peskov stated that it is now impossible to prepare a meeting between putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Peskov told the Russian media about this.

"Our position is well known. Any high-level meeting should be productive and well prepared. We know that the Ukrainian side has left the negotiating track. Therefore, now there is no need to talk about the possibility of preparing such a meeting at the highest level", - Peskov said.

Let us recall that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed the conviction that only putin can stop Russia's war against Ukraine, and offered the russian leader to meet more than once, but putin refused.

As previously reported, the kremlin speaker disowned the "referendum" in the Kherson region, but recalled the annexation of Crimea.
