The Russian occupiers will not be able to capture the Luhansk region in the coming days, "as predicted by analysts". Head of the Lugansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai announced this in Telegram.

"We have enough strength and means to hold the line. However, it is possible that in order not to be surrounded, we will have to retreat", - the head of the oblast noted.

He reported that "Sievierodonetsk is under constant rashist shelling", and the separatist "media" are spreading false statements by the "LNR commanders" that the city has been cut off.

"This contradicts the reality. The oblast center has not been cut off, fighting continues in the vicinity of the city. The russians entered the area of the Mir Hotel and the bus station", - Haidai stated.

He also noted that despite the fact that the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway is completely under fire and movement along it is dangerous, the delivery of humanitarian cargo and evacuation are still possible.

"Those who remained in the free Luhansk region are constantly in shelters, it is almost impossible to go out because of the density of shelling. We supply people with the things necessary for survival", - Haidai concluded.
