The presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia arrived in Ukraine on Wednesday and are on their way to Kyiv to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was stated by head of the international policy department of the Office of the President of Poland Jakub Kumoch, - European Pravda writes with reference to TVN24.

Polish President Andrzej Duda, accompanied by the Presidents of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, Latvia Egils Levits and Estonia Alar Karis is in Ukraine. The leaders are going to meet with Zelensky.

"Our goal is to support President Zelensky and the defenders of Ukraine at a decisive moment for this country", - Kumoch, who accompanies the Polish president, said.

Poland is the organizer of the visit and, together with Ukraine, provides its logistics and security, he added.

"The Baltic countries are our key partners in security issues in the region. Together we decided to go to Kyiv together", - Kumoch said.

The visit of the presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to Kyiv will be the first visit of heads of state to the Ukrainian capital since the beginning of russian aggression. Duda and Nausėda met with Zelensky in Kyiv for the last time just before the war.

On Tuesday, Duda met in Warsaw with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, whose visit to Kyiv was also planned. But Kyiv made it clear that the German president was not expected in Ukraine.
