Illegally deported Ukrainians are sent to the most remote and unfavorable regions of the russian federation. They are sent to Siberia, Chechnya, the Far East and the North Caucasus. This is reported by UNIAN.

It is reported that the news agency's investigators gained access to the decree of the russian authorities on the forced relocation of 95 739 residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblast. Some of them were sent 8 850 kilometers from home.

"The decree noted that "taking into account the situation in Ukraine", the russian federation "coordinates the distribution" of citizens in the "constituent entities of the russian federation" and asks the authorities to "ensure the reception" of 95 739 people, - The Independent says.

For Ukrainians, 11 398 places were allocated in Siberia, 7 218 - in the Far East and 7 023 - in the North Caucasus. Other regions where our citizens are sent include Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan.

The 100 thousand people mentioned in the kremlin's decree are only a fraction of the forcibly deported Ukrainians. According to Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova, 700 thousand citizens of Ukraine have already been taken from the territory of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions to the russian federation.
