Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine by russian occupiers, 1611 civilians, including 131 children, have died. Such updates are provided in the United Nations report.

According to the UN estimates, the number of wounded reached 2227 people.

It is noted that as a result of the barbaric shelling, almost 900 dead (63 children and 831 adults) suffered injuries that do not even allow to determine their gender.

Most of the recorded civilian casualties occurred as a result of the use of large-area weapons, including heavy artillery and multiple artillery rocket systems, missile and air strikes, - the report says.

The UN admits that the real death toll is much higher, since only confirmed cases are included in the reports - it is impossible to quickly verify the information where the battles are going on.
