Ukraine is ready to join NATO even tomorrow to protect the lives of Ukrainians, but the Alliance is not ready for this. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made such a statement to Ukrainian journalists.

"If tomorrow we are offered to join NATO, tomorrow, not to play with our lives, but seriously, - we will join. But unfortunately, this will not happen. And this did not happen, unfortunately. Therefore, we will build security guarantees for us, which can protect life", - he said.
