Putin signs decree on paying for gas in "wooden" rubles. Otherwise threatens to stop contracts

President of the aggressor country putin has stated that he had signed a decree on a new procedure for paying for russian gas with "unfriendly countries" in rubles. Russian media wrote this.

According to the owner of the Kremlin, "unfriendly countries" must open ruble accounts in russian banks and pay for russian gas supplies from April 1.

Putin informed that if "unfriendly countries" do not pay in rubles from April 1, this will be considered a default on gas contracts, in which case the existing contracts will be stopped.

As previously reported, the EU and G7 countries stated that paying for the gas of the aggressor country in russian rubles is contrary to previously concluded contracts and they would not agree to this step.
