Answering questions from reporters on March 16, the U.S. President Joe Biden said he considers Russian President Putin a "war criminal". This is reported by Radio Liberty.

According to Reuters, Biden first used such rhetoric against Putin in the context of the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.

In response, Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov called "such rhetoric of the head of state, whose bombs killed hundreds of thousands of people around the world, inadmissible and unforgivable". Putin's speaker, of course, did not specify what he had in mind.

The report recalls that answering the question last year whether Biden considers Putin a "murderer", he answered "yes".

As reported, the U.S. Senate unanimously declared Putin an international war criminal.
