At least 78 children have died since the beginning of the hostilities of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, more than 100 have been injured. This was written by Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova on her Facebook.

These figures are indicative, since it is not yet possible to establish exact data on the number of killed and wounded residents of Mariupol and Volnovakha in the Donetsk oblast and the city of Irpin in the Kyiv oblast.

"The aggressor continues to violate the fundamental rights of children - the right to life and receive health service, guaranteed to every child in the world by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child", - Denisova stated.
