Negotiations between advisers to leaders of Normandy Four countries do not result in signing final document - Yermak

As a result of almost nine hours of negotiations in Berlin, political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries did not adopt a single document. This was stated at a briefing by representative of the Ukrainian delegation at the meeting, head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, - Ukrayinska Pravda reports.

"Today we were unable to come to any common document. Indeed, these negotiations lasted for almost 9 hours… It would be very good if we could agree on something for the second meeting in the Normandy format after a long break, there is such a desire, but today it happened as it happened", - he told.

The Russian party insisted on direct talks between Ukraine and representatives of CADLO, who are not members of the Trilateral Contact Group. "Today there is no dialogue at all. There is no reaction from Ukraine to the repeated proposals of the Donbas, no answer "yes" or "no"… A dialogue that should have been going on for 7 years already! We have not even begun to do this! ", - Russian media quote the statement of representative of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak following the results of the negotiations.

As reported, negotiations between political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries were held in Berlin on February 10. The goal of the Ukrainian party in the negotiations was to unblock the work of the TCG for further progress in the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donbas.
