State Duma Council not to consider issue of recognizing "DNR" and "LNR" on February 14: parliamentary parties ignored

The Council of the State Duma will not consider the issue of recognizing the statehood of the so-called "DNR" and "LNR" on February 14.This was reported by chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Leonid Kalashnikov, - Russian media write.

"The Duma parliamentary parties, with the exception of A Just Russia, did not send their opinions to the committee on the draft appeal to the president on the recognition of the DNR and LNR. We do not take this issue to the next Council", - Kalashnikov told.

Earlier it was reported that leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov stated that the Russian communists submitted a draft appeal to Vladimir Putin with a request to recognize the statehood of the so-called "DNR" and "LNR". It was planned that consideration of this draft would take place at the next meeting of the State Duma Council on February 14.
