In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on February 7, 3 violations of the ceasefire by the armed formations of the Russian Federation were recorded, - the Joint Forces Headquarters reported. The occupiers opened fire from small arms twice not far from Pisky. The positions of the defenders of Pivdenne were fired upon by Russian mercenaries from small arms. One soldier of the Joint Forces was injured as a result of the enemy actions. The warrior is in a medical institution. His health condition is satisfactory.

Commander of the Vostok militant battalion Alexander Khodakovsky called on Russia to send 30 thousand soldiers to CADLO. The militant said this in an interview with Reuters. According to the leader of the militants, out of 30 thousand "DNR" own fighters, only 10 thousand are ready for combat operations. Khodakovsky stated that the militants needed to have 40 thousand fighters "with automatic rifles on the frontline". Khodakovsky acknowledged that the militants would be defeated in the event of a major offensive by Ukrainian government forces, and called on Russia to send Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems to the Donbas. Khodakovsky also assured that the majority of separatists do not want a military solution to the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

It was decided in the occupied Donetsk region that after raising the minimum wage, it was time to raise fares. This was reported in the separatist segment of social networks. "From January 1, 2022, the minimum wage in the republic was increased by 37.33%, which amounted to $136 (the minimum wage in the free territory of Ukraine is $232 - OstroV). In this connection, maintaining a balance between effective demand for motor transport services and the volume of expenses for their provision will be rational, subject to an increase in fares", - the justification of the carriers said. It also noted the deplorable state of the fleet and frequent bus breakdowns, which cause complaints from the population. "All carriers, without exception, are in a critical situation due to rising prices for fuels and lubricants, spare parts, tires, batteries and other consumables that are purchased only in the Rostov oblast at Russian prices", - the occupiers cry. Citizens wrote angry comments about this: "These excuses can be written every time when the passage rises. The essence does not change"; "It seems that no improvement was observed after the last recent rise in fare"; "This increase does not oblige carriers to carry out additional work with the rolling stock, purchase a new one, or change the schedule. Nothing. Just now, instead of 15 rubles, we will pay 20".

130 715 people were infected in the occupied Donetsk region during the COVID-19 pandemic. 9 574 cases ended fatally. This was reported by the fake "Ministry of Health of the DNR". Studies on the incidence of coronavirus were not carried out on February 6, since the only laboratory in CADO was under sanitation. 10 617 patients are currently undergoing treatment (inpatient and outpatient). 91 cases of "usual" pneumonia were also detected during the day, which is 23 more than in the past day. Of these, 49 people were hospitalized. 899 patients with pneumonia are being treated, 363 of them are on oxygen support (+13 over the day).

Prices for tobacco products in the occupied Donetsk region have been raised since January, with locally produced cigarettes becoming the most expensive. This was written in the local segment of social networks. "Sellers in tobacco shops explain the rise in price by an increase in excise tax. On average, the cost of the middle segment of products for smokers has risen in price by 10 rubles per pack", - the report said. "And higher-class cigarettes jumped in price even more - by 20 rubles. But, as sellers warn, this is not the limit. The next price increase for cigarettes is expected in March. Donetsk-made products will cost about 100 rubles per pack, middle-class cigarettes – up to 150 rubles", - local residents complained.

Citizen of Ukraine Viktor Shydlovsky has been groundlessly kept in the basement of the Donetsk detention center-5 in CADO for the third year. This was reported by the Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova. Victor worked as a driver at one of the enterprises in Kyiv. He was mobilized in March 2015, and served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a year. In March 2019, he left home and disappeared. In June of the same year, the wife saw a video on the Internet, which was posted by representatives of the occupation administration. It became clear that Viktor was detained along with two citizens of Ukraine. At first, Shydlovsky was held in the notorious Izolyatsia prison, where, according to the testimony of the released Ukrainian hostages, he was tortured with electric shocks, his legs were broken, his kidneys were beaten off and his teeth were cut down. According to a fabricated case, Viktor is accused of "espionage" in favor of Ukraine and pro-Ukrainian activities. The detention center does not accept parcels for Viktor Shydlovsky from relatives. Neither food and clothes, nor medicines, which he critically needs, get to him. Denisova called on the International Red Cross to urgently visit Viktor Shydlovsky and facilitate his immediate release.

Citizen of Ukraine Svitlana Dovhal has been illegally kept in a pre-trial detention center in occupied Donetsk for almost 3 years. This was reported by the Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova. She told that the woman disappeared in Donetsk on July 22, 2019. After the beginning of the Russian occupation, she traveled to Kyiv in search of work, but then returned home – she worked as an administrator in one of the hotels. "Almost all the time, representatives of the occupation administration kept Svitlana Dovhal in the notorious Izolyatsia prison. As the former Ukrainian hostages told, they saw her there in bruises after interrogations. While beating the "confession" out, the woman was abused: beaten, tortured with electric current and kept in the basement", - Denisova wrote. Svitlana is accused of "spying for Ukraine" in a fabricated case. After suffering torture, the woman's chronic diseases caused by diabetes mellitus worsened. Due to a thyroid disease, Svitlana needs constant medication. Svitlana Dovhal is not provided with any medical assistance. In addition, the medicine that her mother tries to give her does not reach the captive. Denisova called on the International Red Cross to urgently visit Svitlana Dovhal and help her immediate release.
