The Pechersk Court of Kyiv has chosen pre-trial restrictions for the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the form of a personal recognizance. The court's decision was announced by Judge Oleksiy Sokolov.

Petro Poroshenko is suspected of high treason in the case of coal trade with the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas in 2014-2015.

Thus, the court rejected the motion of the Office of the Prosecutor General, which asked for Poroshenko to be placed in custody with an alternative bail in the amount of UAH 1 billion.
