Serhiy and Dmytro Kharaberiush brothers, illegally detained by the authorities of the occupation administration of the Russian Federation in the Makiivka correctional facility No.32, are subjected to severe torture for their pro-Ukrainian position. She told that the brothers were detained on August 18, 2017 on their way to work – the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant. They were forcedly herd into a minibus and taken to the so-called "Ministry of State Security of the DNR". There, the brothers were beaten and tortured with electric shocks, were demanded a confession that they were relatives of Ukrainian counterintelligence officer Oleksandr Kharaberiush, who died in Mariupol in 2017. Subsequently, Serhiy and Dmytro were transferred to the "DNR Ministry of state Security's" Izolyatsia prison, where the torture continued, and on May 18, 2018, the Kharaberiush brothers were transferred to the pre-trial detention center in Donetsk. They were accused of espionage at the trial and each was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

He also complained that the "ministry employees" are currently suspended from work, salaries are blocked by a "separate decree" and "employees were deprived of their means of subsistence". According to him, "the work of the ministry is completely paralyzed". "It seems that there is a slow squeezing out of the intractable and unconstructive persons, preventing them from "absorbing" Russian budgets", - the "accused Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of the DNR" believed.

More than a thousand households in the occupied Donetsk region were left without electricity due to the fall of tree branches on power lines. This was reported by Alexander Shatov, who calls himself the "head of administration" of Shakhtarsk. In particular, he wrote that residents of Shakhtarsk, as well as of the villages of Dmytrivka and Dibrivka, are without electricity.
