Leader of Batkivshchyna Yulia Tymoshenko said about transition of its political force to parliamentary opposition. Tymoshenko told me about that, - reports the press-service of Batkivshchyna.

"Today I can tell about a consolidated decision of our political strength. We have decided to leave hopeless negotiations on the establishment of a new coalition. We are becoming a democratic, pro-European opposition," - said Tymoshenko.

According to her, Batkivshchyna faction is putting every effort to change the course of government, in particular, it has set five public conditions which could give Ukraine a chance to find a way out of the crisis.

"We are going to conduct a fair confident power against the old system, against the merger of the new postmaydan power and old oligarchic mafia. We are going to fight against the destruction of the economy of Ukraine, against the destruction of the life of every Ukrainian family," - she said.

Yulia Tymoshenko also noted that her political team in parliament would continue to support legislative initiatives that are needed for the state.

"If there are that the country really needs, that can help people in this difficult time, our team in the parliament will vote in favour of what we believe is right and necessary," - she added.

The leader of Batkivshchyna said that the transition to the opposition was the only correct decision in the current social and economic circumstances. "Otherwise, we can become as a democratic force a cover for the ugliness that's going on behind the scenes", - said Tymoshenko.
