OSCE SMM exposes militants' lies about "unarmed representatives of the LNR in the JCCC"

The so-called "representatives" of the LNR in the JCCC control the disengagement areas with automatic weapons. This is said in the daily report of the OSCE SMM on December 13.

"On 12 December, while positioned on the southern edge of the disengagement area, the SMM observed two members of the armed formations (wearing armbands with "JCCC" written) inside the area and walking out of it in a southerly direction, one of whom was armed with a long-barreled weapon, assessed as an assault rifle AK-74", - it stays.

Thus, the lie of the occupation propaganda that the representatives of the self-proclaimed "representative offices of the DNR/LNR" in the JCCC "allegedly control the ceasefire and do not have any weapons on their hands" was documented. Earlier, the forces of the Ukrainian military detained the "LNR" militant Andrey Kosyak, who was conducting reconnaissance of the AFU positions and armed with a Makarov gun.

As reported, after the departure of Russian officers in December 2017, the terrorist "DNR/LNR" announced the creation of their own "missions" at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination on ceasefire and expressed a desire to cooperate with the OSCE mission. Officially, there are no representations of terrorist "republics" in the Joint Centre. They are called "members of the armed formations with the JCCC armbands" in the OSCE SMM reports. The Centre consisted of 128 officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Russian Federation before the demarche of Russia. They worked in 16 control groups – 8 each in the territory controlled by Ukraine and in the zone of occupation. After the adoption of a decision on full and comprehensive ceasefire in Minsk in July 2020, the Ukrainian party insists that Russian officers return to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination on ceasefire and stabilization of the demarcation line between the parties.
