In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on November 23, 3 violations of the ceasefire were recorded by the armed formations of the Russian Federation, - the JFO headquarters reported. The occupiers fired from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers in the direction of Zaitseve. Russian mercenaries fired from automatic heavy grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Verkhniotoretske. The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns in the direction of Shumy. One member of the Joint Forces was injured as a result of hostile actions. The soldier received medical assistance and was evacuated to a hospital. His health condition is satisfactory. Ukrainian defenders returned fire and forced the enemy to stop shelling.

The CALO propagandists continue to lie that Ukraine does not open checkpoints near Shchastia and Zolote. This was once again stated by Olga Kobtseva, who calls herself "the representative of the LNR in the working subgroup on humanitarian issues of the TCG". According to her, "at the current stage, the Ukrainian party is not ready to fulfill the Minsk agreements" and the obligations assumed… The checkpoints (near Shchastia and Zolote) are not opened". This traditional lie of separatist propaganda was easily refuted by the OSCE SMMM reports. In particular, observers reported in a report dated November 22 that "checkpoints near Zolote and in the Schhastia settlement (government-controlled, 20 km north of Luhansk) were open, however the corresponding checkpoints of the armed formations south of the disengagement area in the area of Zolote and 3 km southeast of the Shchastia bridge were closed". The occupiers have been refusing to open the aforementioned checkpoints for a long time, unreasonably blaming the Ukrainian party for this.

The "DNR" leader Denis Pushilin has once again twisted the facts, having accused the AFU of destroying the Donetsk International Airport named after S.Prokofiev. He presented his "version" in an interview with one of the Russian-language video channels. "We had a wonderful, beautiful airport, which Ukraine destroyed in the literal sense of the word", - he said. The head of occupation administration did not remind the audience that the Donetsk Airport was built at the expense of the Ukrainian budget and Ukrainian big business for EURO 2012. Ringleader Pushilin also kept silent about the fact that the occupation troops repeatedly tried to seize the Donetsk Airport, mercilessly firing at it from heavy artillery and tanks. The airport was almost completely destroyed as a result of fire from the Russian hybrid army.

1049 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast over the day. This was reported by the so-called "Ministry of Health of the DNR". 15 720 patients are undergoing treatment (inpatient and outpatient). 7856 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic. 100 cases of "usual" pneumonia were also detected during the day, - 35 cases more than in the previous day. Of these, 65 patients were hospitalized. In total, 2113 patients with pneumonia are being treated, of which 1196 are on oxygen support (+34 over the day).

Hazardous areas in the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast that have undergone the man-made influence of operating and liquidated mines are included in a special catalog, - separatist media wrote. This refers to the plots of land where sinkholes can form and colliery gases can escape to the surface. Such areas can be extremely dangerous for people, buildings and structures. "The work has already been completed in the Torez-Snizhne district, which includes 22 mines. After the work in two more districts - Donetsk-Makeeiivka and Central - will be completed, an electronic catalog will be prepared containing detailed information on the sites subject to the man-made impact of operating and abandoned mines", - the information resources wrote with reference to local experts.

The King Town restaurant, located on the Leninsky Avenue in occupied Donetsk, was put up for sale for $1.5 million. This was reported in the local segment of social networks. Judging by the date of the announcement placement, the establishment has been on sale for a month. This message caused a heated discussion among the townspeople. Basically, the Donetsk residents do not understand who can covet such an expensive facility in the occupied city, believing that there will be no demand for entertainment in such conditions: "Funny. Nobody will invest money in Putin's hole"; "Who will buy this restaurant on the edge of geography, and even more the explosions sometimes occur nearby, so that it is broken and the money wasted?"; "Well, if the price is reduced by three times, then maybe they will sell it"; "300 is top price. And make a watering hole"; "Seriously? And who will go there? Considering what kind of sh@t the Sun City and Chateau have become since 2014, I am generally surprised how people go to any establishment. The prices are overestimated, and the quality is at the level of canteen". The Donetsk residents were also discussing who is engaged in medium-sized businesses in CADO: "As far as I know, not a small part of shops, pharmacies and other stores are owned by businessmen outside Donetsk"; "Well, some of them lived here before, and then run away, but all this brings income anyway".

Leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin stated that the Donetsk residents' dreams of being able to leave from the railway station in occupied Donetsk would remain impossible ambitions, having completely distorted the reasons for what has happened in the CADO. He said this in an interview with the Russian Sputnik. Pushilin recalled that there was an airport in Donetsk before the war, and brazenly lied that it was "destroyed by Ukraine". "We had a wonderful airport, which Ukraine literally destroyed, we also have a railway station - it remains, but it is not possible to start a train from the Donetsk railway station, because it will pass through the territory completely shelled by Ukraine, …therefore, we will not be able to use the railway station", - Pushilin said, having kept silent about the fact that it is the side of the Russian occupiers and the "DNR" mercenaries who are shelling. At the same time, Pushilin hypocritically added that he was glad that the residents of CADO became interested in such things as travel. In the opinion of the "DNR" leader, such changes are "great".
