The enemy opened fire from 120 mm mortars in the direction of Kamianka. In addition, an unmanned aerial vehicle, probably of the Orlan-10 type, was recorded in the Donetsk oblast passing through the collision line. There are no casualties among the military personnel of the Joint Forces as a result of the enemy actions. Ukrainian defenders opened fire in return without using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, and forced the enemy to stop shelling.

Occupiers of the "DNR" boasted that two workshops of the Horlivka Stirol plant with 25 employees began to work after seven years of inactivity. This was reported by separatist media. "We have been in a downtime and conservation mode for seven years. As of today... a program for the launch of two workshops has been developed. Now they have begun their work", - Vasily Agarkov, who calls himself director of the enterprise, was quoted. According to him, the workshop for paints and lacquers and the workshop for the production of polymer products have resumed their work, where the production of polyethylene film, disposable tableware and packaging, pentaphtol and water-dispersion paints has been launched. "Now 25 people work in the shops, with the expansion of production, the number of workers is planned to increase more than six times", - the occupiers loudly promised. The Stirol concern was one of the leading chemical enterprises in Ukraine before the Russian occupation. It supplied to the market 3% of world exports of ammonia and urea, polymeric materials and products from them. Stirol has become a part of Ostchem Holding (Dmytro Firtash's Group DF) since September 2010. According to the holding data, the company employed 4500 people. The "DNR" militants seized the enterprise in 2014, but failed to launch production.

1207 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the occupied territory of the Donetsk region over the day, another 59 patients died, - the fake "DNR Ministry of Health" reported. Occupation administration of CADO decided to resume the educational process. The corresponding "order" was published by Alexey Kulemzin, who calls himself the "head of the administration" of Donetsk. Students of schools, universities and technical schools will switch to full-time education from Monday, November 22. Residents of CADO reacted to this decision ambiguously. Some are happy, others are worried about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic: "So now the danger has passed? Or what has changed?"; "Well, enough staying at home, it is time to study normally"; "Fubar… What school, what university? People get sick and die, and the main thing for them is to gain knowledge, nonsense! It makes me mad, 1000 people get infected every day." As Ostrov reported, on November 17, CADO reported 1046 new cases of COVID-19 and 98 deaths over the previous day.

The center was still trying to work in the first years of the occupation, but now it has been closed for several years, falling into decline.
