In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on November 16, 9 violations of the ceasefire by the armed formations of the Russian Federation were recorded, 4 of which were with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, - the JFO headquarters reported. The occupiers fired from 82 mm mortars and heavy machine guns in the direction of Marinka. Russian mercenaries fired from small arms near Prychepylivka. The enemy opened fire three times in the direction of Novotoshkivske, using artillery of 152 mm caliber, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and other small arms. The enemy fired at our positions from automatic heavy grenade launchers not far from Travneve. The enemy troops fired from 120 mm mortars in the area of Novooleksandrivka. Our positions in the area of Novozvanivka came under fire from 122 mm artillery. In addition, an unmanned aerial vehicle, probably of the Orlan-10 type was recorded in the Luhansk oblast passing through the collision line. One member of the Joint Forces was injured as a result of hostile actions. Ukrainian defenders opened fire in return without using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements and forced the enemy to stop shelling.

The CADLO propagandists are trying to prove that the Russian-made Orlan-10 drone captured by the AFU was not used by the occupation forces in the JFO zone. A clumsy attempt to refute the obvious fact of the use of Russian weapons by the "DNR/LNR" illegal armed formations was made by former "LNR" militant Andrey Marochko, who calls himself a "military and political expert", in his Telegram channel. "Ukrainian propaganda reiterates that it shot down the Russian UAV Orlan-10. I just want to remind you about decree No.1062 of the President of the Russian Federation, which says that this unmanned aerial vehicle is publicly available and is on free sale. Ukraine could easily purchase these UAVs through third parties for its provocations", - he wrote. "It is sold in any surplus store, in any village in Russia without showing a passport and removing the hijab", - users of social networks mockingly comment on the "version" of the self-proclaimed "expert".

On November 15, 275 people used the Olenivka checkpoint of the "DNR" occupiers, which is located opposite the Novotroitske checkpoint. This was reported by the fake "DNR Ministry of Emergency Situations" on November 16. 21 vehicles and 115 people proceeded to the occupied territory. 29 vehicles and 160 people were released into the free territory of Ukraine. 26 people applied for help. Let us recall that under the guise of COVID-19 quarantine, the occupiers usually allow to cross the contact line twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays. To enter, the occupiers require a permit from the so-called "DNR interdepartmental operational headquarters for coronavirus", which issues it on the basis of previously submitted applications from the residents. Only those who have a residence permit in the free territory of Ukraine are released from the occupied territory. For those who have registration (residence permit) on the territory of CADO, the permission from the "interdepartmental operational headquarters" is also required.

In some areas of the Donetsk oblast (CADO), another 1011 cases of COVID-19 were detected. This was reported by the so-called "Ministry of Health of the DNR". Also, another 63 deaths were registered over the day. 18 143 patients are undergoing treatment (inpatient and outpatient). In addition, 105 cases of "usual" pneumonia were detected over the day, which is 16 cases more than the previous day. Of these, 75 patients were hospitalized. A total of 2606 patients with pneumonia are being treated, of which 1518 are on oxygen support (+52 over day).

Doctors registered 18 more deaths from COVID-19 in the occupied Luhansk region, over the day, separatist media wrote. Thus, doctors "officially" registered 2760 deaths of patients diagnosed with coronavirus in CALO since the beginning of the pandemic.

The free passage to the controlled Ukrainian territory prohibited by the "DNR" occupiers revived the "shuttle" business in the CADO, which flourished in the 90s of the last century, - people wrote in the "republican" segment of social networks. It turned out to be easier to go to the Russian Federation for cheap goods, although "border guards and customs officers are on guard from both sides", which affects the price of the service. People wrote that the choice of goods is limited in local stores, plus a crazy mark-up, so initiative people started delivering from Russia. Customers buy goods to their name, and "shuttle traders" bring them in cars to CADO. "We carry everything. Building materials from Leroy Merlin, household appliances from DNS and M-Video, even furniture from Ikea was brought several times. Medicines are often ordered. I brought one, it cost 150 rubles in Rostov, and 600 rubles in our stores", - the local Telegram channel quotes one of the "shuttle traders". The main thing, in his opinion, is to accurately calculate the quantity of goods before the trip, so as not to arouse the interest of the so-called "customs officers". "Generally, things are transported in big pack. I put up to 16 bags into the car", - the driver of small station wagon told. According to him, a lot of goods are ordered from cheap stores. Entrepreneurs also wrote that "shuttle traders" charged 10% of the cost of goods for their services until recently, now - from 15% to 20%. "It is possible to transport it officially, and it would even come out cheaper. But the time for customs clearance in Donetsk takes several weeks. And do not forget about bureaucracy. Nobody wants to mess about with this", - the "shuttle traders" said, having specified that "customs clearance takes from 30 to 40% of the cost of goods".
