More than 16 thousand new cases of COVID-19 and 838 deaths recorded in Ukraine

16 308 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

16 308 people fell ill over the past day, including 1168 children and 327 health workers. 2264 people were hospitalized and 838 – died.

21 914 people recovered on November 15.

112 896 tests were carried over the past day, of which 45 674 – by PCR, 13 529 – by EIA and 53 693 – by rapid antigen tests.

3 244 749 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 664 373 patients recovered and 77 985 people died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Dnipropetrovsk (1635), Odesa (1549), Zaporizhzhia (1084) and Poltava (1000) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1481).
