The Russian party is lying, claiming that Ukraine has refused to provide consular access to the "LNR" militant Andrey Kosyak, who is called "citizen of the Russian Federation" in the Russian Federation. This was stated by member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group Serhiy Harmash on his Facebook.

MFA speaker Maria Zakharova "blatantly lied that Ukraine refused to provide consular access to the "LNR" militant Kosyak", - he wrote.

In fact, according to the representative of Ukraine, "representative of Russia Kulmukhametov, during the TCG, once called on Ukraine to provide consular access to Kosyak. But Ukraine did not have the opportunity to respond to his call, therefore, to say that we "refused" is, at least, wishful thinking", - S.Harmash explained.

"As I understand it, Ukraine is ready to consider this issue when the Russian Federation provides evidence of the validity of such a claim, that is, proves that Kosyak is a citizen of Russia and explains why its citizen, being armed, conducted intelligence activities in the disengagement zone", - he summed up.

Serhiy Harmash recalled that representatives of international humanitarian organizations were admitted to the "LNR" militant. "And not a single international organization is allowed to our people tormented in the basements of the Russian-occupied Donbas, not even the Red Cross", - the representative of Ukraine in the TCG emphasized.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian military detained the "LNR" militant Andrey Kosyak near the village of Zolote on the demarcation line on October 13. His passport of the Russian Federation, a gun and a military ID were seized from him. He is allegedly a "citizen of Russia". The court sent the militant under arrest for two months.
