Almost 19 thousand new cases of COVID-19 and more than 800 deaths recorded in Ukraine

18 988 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

18 988 people fell ill over the past day, including 1183 children and 426 health workers. 2967 people were hospitalized and 833 – died.

16 609 people recovered on November 8.

127 461 tests were carried over the past day, of which 53 555 – by PCR, 14 861 – by EIA and 59 045 – by rapid antigen tests.

3 107 489 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 537 565 patients recovered and 73 390 people died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Dnipropetrovsk (2042), Odesa (1516), Lviv (1352) and Kharkiv (1314) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1204).
