More than 19 thousand new cases of COVID-19 and 700 deaths recorded in Ukraine

19 455 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

19 455 people fell ill over the past day, including 1263 children and 339 health workers. 3188 people were hospitalized and 700 – died.

12 639 people recovered on November 1.

133 592 tests were carried over the past day, of which 56 930 – by PCR, 19 553 – by EIA and 57 109 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 955 693 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 454 737 patients recovered and 68 727 people died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Odesa (1908), Dnipropetrovsk (1621), Zaporizhzhia (1341) and Kharkiv (1337) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1738).
