Not a day goes by without anti-record. More than 26.8 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

26 870 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

26 870 people fell ill over the past day, including 1824 children and 491 health workers. 5463 people were hospitalized and 648 – died.

9 784 people recovered on October 28.

142 277 tests were carried over the past day, of which 74 027 – by PCR, 20 592 – by EIA and 47 658 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 878 674 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 421 495 patients recovered and 66 852 people died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Dnipropetrovsk (2164), Odesa (2156), Lviv (1702) and Kharkiv (1497) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1616).
