New anti-record. More than 26 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine for the first time

26 071 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

26 071 people fell ill over the past day, including 1830 children and 477 health workers. 5366 people were hospitalized and 576 – died.

10 006 people recovered on October 27.

151 504 tests were carried over the past day, of which 77 573 – by PCR, 21 960 – by EIA and 51 971 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 851 804 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 411 711 patients recovered and 66 204 people died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Odesa (2296), Dnipropetrovsk (2113), Zhytomyr (1668), Kharkiv (1517) and Lviv (1506) oblasts.
