More than 22 thousand new cases of COVID-19 and almost 700 deaths recorded in Ukraine

22 574 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

22 574 people fell ill over the past day, including 1532 children and 399 health workers. 5925 people were hospitalized and 692 – died.

11 593 people recovered on October 26.

147 563 tests were carried over the past day, of which 72 231 – by PCR, 20 345 – by EIA and 54 987 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 825 733 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 401 705 patients recovered and 65 628 people died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Dnipropetrovsk (1874), Kharkiv (1641), Odesa (1477) and Lviv (1426) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1416).
