First leader of the "DNR" Alexander Borodai admitted that the so-called "People's Militia Corps of the DNR/LNR" were an integral part of the Russian armed forces. He stated this on the air of one of the Russian TV channels. He complained that "our troops" had lost control over the grey zone after the Debaltseve operation. The journalist asked him to clarify what he meant by the words "our troops". To which Borodai directly stated that these were "Russian troops". Ignoring the presenter's call to be more careful in voicing the presence of Russian troops in the Donbas, the ex-leader of the "DNR" confirmed that both in the occupied part of Ukraine and in Russia itself, there is only a single armed formation: Russian troops. "This is a matter of principle: some call Russian troops "people's militia corps of the DNR and LNR", others – simply the Russian army. This is the same thing", - A.Borodai stated.

The headquarters of the OSCE SMM in occupied Donetsk is surrounded by armed militants, and the so-called activists who allegedly spontaneously take part in the protest campaign should be registered on the name lists upon arrival. This was said in the daily report of the Mission. "According to the SMM, a mass gathering of 20-60 people continued around the hotel during the day", - it noted. At the same time, the Mission's team noted the good organization of the campaign, in particular, "some of the protesters communicated through radio handsets". "Observers saw that some of the protesters, who arrived on the morning of October 18, studied, exchanged and signed papers which apparently contained the name lists", - the OSCE SMM said in the report. In addition, the observers "recorded… the presence of members of the armed formations around the hotel".

The OSCE SMM observers, who were blocked by "activists" organized by the occupation authorities of the "DNR" at their headquarters in Donetsk, are not able to undergo routine testing for COVID, since the stockpiles of tests have run out. This was saidin the OSCE SMM report.

Corpses from a covid department are being piled in cellophane bags right on the street near the building of the Kalinin hospital in occupied Donetsk. This was reported in the local segment of social networks with posting a photo. "Eerie footage from the Kalinin hospital – there is nowhere to put the corpses of those who died from covid. When it seems that nothing will surprise or scare us, another horror appears, which at first is difficult to believe in", - the blogger wrote. He recalled that a medical facility set up an army tent at the morgue recently: "Everyone guessed that this is in order to temporarily store the bodies of the dead in the covid department. Now there is not enough space in the tarpaulin structure as well. Silhouettes of human bodies are easily guessed in a heap of cellophane bags…". The blogger also reported that he conducted a survey in his channel on the social network of whom the residents of CADO blame for coronavirus. "54% of the respondents chose the option – the authorities of the "republic" are to blame, which were not engaged in medicine and did not prepare for the epidemic. 31% of the survey participants believe that Russia is to blame, which does not really help the "DNR", although it sends both material aid and medical teams to other countries. Only 10% believe that people themselves are to blame, as they ignore the danger, do not wear face masks and do not keep the distance", -the blogger reported.

The concerts of Russian 70-year-old artist Oleg Gazmanov, who has been banned from entering Ukraine, planned in occupied Donetsk and Luhansk, are not going to be canceled, despite the indignation of residents, given the tense epidemiological situation in CADLO due to coronavirus. This was reported in the local segment of social networks. "Earlier, the question of Gazmanov's concert in the "DNR" was in the air. Supporters of the cancellation of mass events amid the rampant coronavirus epidemic opposed his visit", - the local Telegram channel wrote.
