Occupation authorities of the "LNR" have stated that the surge in coronavirus infection in the occupied territory of the Luhansk oblast was caused by pensioners who regularly visit free Ukraine to receive social benefits. This accusation against the elderly, in particular, was expressed by Natalia Pashchenko, who calls herself "the Minister of Health of the LNR".

Commenting on the "decree" of leader of the "LNR" Leonid Pasechnik on the closure of the last Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint working in the occupied Donbas, she manipulatively stated that "the restriction on crossing the checkpoint… is a forced anti-epidemic measure".

Allegedly, "coronavirus entered the territory of the LDNR mainly from the territory of Ukraine".

"Anamnestic connection of the disease and infection with coronavirus with a visit to Ukraine or contact with persons who crossed the border with the territory of Ukraine in the near future is a confirmed fact", - she traditionally accused the Ukrainian side without any proof.

The "minister" named pensioners, who "continuously migrate in order to receive pension payments", carriers of coronavirus.

At the same time, she did not comment on the mass trips to the territory of Russia to vote in the election to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the holding of crowded propaganda events on the territory of CADLO, the lack of reliable vaccines and medicines, the chronic shortage of doctors and places in coronavirus departments.

Also, the "minister" did not explain the fact that the death rate from COVID-19 in the occupied Donbas is almost several times higher than that in the controlled territory of Ukraine.
