Almost 10 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine. Donetsk oblast ranks high

9 846 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

9 846 people fell ill over the past day, including 918 children and 207 health workers. 1 881 people were hospitalized and 317 – died.

4 229 people recovered on October 4.

74 125 tests were carried over the past day, of which 37 080 – by PCR, 8 762 – by EIA and 28 283 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 469 856 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 268 752 patients recovered and 57 206 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Dnipropetrovsk (992), Kharkiv (940), Odesa (809), Zaporizhzhia (667) and Donetsk (662) oblasts.

443 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Luhansk oblast.
