In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on September 30, the Russian occupation troops violated the ceasefire 4 times, 2 of which - with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, - the JFO headquarters reported. The enemy's armed formations carried out aimed shelling of the positions of our defenders near Novotoshkivske from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The occupiers twice fired from 122 mm artillery тear Kamianka, as well as from 82 mm and 120 mm mortars. The mercenaries used automatic easel grenade launchers in the direction of the Popasna settlement. As a result of the enemy shelling, one member of the Joint Forces suffered fatal wound. Our defenders fired back at the shelling of the Russian occupation forces, which forced the enemy to stop firing.

The "LNR" propagandists claimed that the armed militant who crossed over to the controlled territory of Ukraine and surrendered to the AFU was in fact a "former serviceman" and did that allegedly under pressure from the AFU. This was said in the message of the so-called "people's militia" on September 30. According to the occupational propagandists, "the SBU officers forced the former soldier of the People's Militia of the LNR into cooperation using threatening". Allegedly, the SBU put pressure on the relatives of 23-year-old Daniil Lystopad, who live in the controlled territory. At the same time, the occupiers did not specify why the "former serviceman" surrendered to the Ukrainian authorities along with the weapon.

The "DNR" propagandists stopped spreading boastful statements about how they allegedly were shelling the AFU positions by "return fire" and "suppressing firing points" of the enemy. Probably, the refusal from the belligerent rhetoric is connected with the statement of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, who reported that the military in the combat zone in the Donbas were allowed to return fire to the Russian militants without the consent of "Kyiv." This statement caused a flurry of hysterical comments in the information field of CADLO and Russia. Simultaneously with the accusations against Ukraine, victorious reports about the "return fire" of the "people's militia" forces disappeared from the CADLO news feeds. Meanwhile, back in March 2021, the militants received the right to open not even reprisal, but "preventive fire" by order of leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin. "Units of the People's Militia have been given permission to conduct preventive fire to suppress and destroy the enemy firing points". Throughout the summer, using the above formulations, the militants passed off all their shelling as retaliatory or prevention measures.

The curfew in the occupied territory of the Luhansk oblast will be resumed from October 1. This was said in the message of the so-called "LNR MIA".

Occupiers of the "DNR" reported that they identified 807 more cases of coronavirus disease over the day. Also, 41 patients died over the day. These are the data of the fake "DNR Ministry of Health". A total of 67 201 patients with COVID-19 infection have been recorded in CADO since the beginning of the pandemic, 9855 patients are undergoing treatment (inpatient and outpatient), 4875 people died. 317 cases of "usual" pneumonia were also detected over the day. Of these, hospitalization was required in 158 cases. In total, 3716 patients with pneumonia are being treated, of which 1098 are on oxygen support (+100 over the day).

Another 146 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the occupied Luhansk region over the day. Separatist media wrote this. Also, another 27 people died from complications of COVID-19 over the day.

Only 2 thousand residents of CALO visited the "tourist attractions" of the occupied part of the Luhansk oblast. This was stated by Roman Oleksin, who calls himself deputy "Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of the LNR". "We can say for sure that the 2021 season has taken place. Despite all the difficulties associated with the coronavirus pandemic, more than two thousand (residents of CALO were able to - OstroV) visit various tourist sites in the (occupied - OstroV) territory (of the Luhansk oblast - OstroV), - Oleskin said. "More than 10 thousand residents of the LNR were able to leave the Republic", - he boasted. The "deputy minister" did not specify where exactly the "foreign tourists" went from CALO, but based on his subsequent words, in most cases, it is about the occupied part of the neighboring Donetsk oblast.

Two people died in a fire in an apartment of a 10-storey building in occupied Donetsk on September 30. This was reported by the fake "Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DNR". The incident occurred along the Ostrovskoho Street of the Kirovskyi district. A three-room apartment on the eighth floor caught fire. "The bodies of two victims were found at the site of the fire: a man, born in 1946, and a woman, born in 1951", - the message said. Furniture and personal belongings in the apartment, one window and two door blocks were destroyed by fire on an area of 26 sq. m.

Star of ex-coach of FC Shakhtar Mircea Lucescu on the Walk of Fame near the Donbass Arena stadium in occupied Donetsk was covered with paint in the colors of Dynamo, which is currently coached by the Romanian mentor. The Donetsk residents wrote this in the local segment of social networks. "Shakhtar's fans did not forgive Lucescu for transferring to Dynamo Kyiv. A couple of days ago, Mircea's star on the Walk of Fame near the Donbass Arena was completely covered in blue paint (in Dynamo colors), having almost hidden the owner's name", - the message said. "We will add that no one is in a hurry to remove the paint. Other stars on the Walk of Fame have not suffered", - the townspeople told.
