The enemy conducted aimed fire from hand-held anti-tank and underbarrel grenade launchers in the area of Zolote-4, as well as from small arms. In addition, Russian mercenaries fired at the positions of the Ukrainian military near the village of Pisky, having used anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. There are no casualties among the military personnel of the Joint Forces. Ukrainian defenders returned fire to the enemy shelling, which forced the enemy to stop firing.
Puppet authorities of the "DNR" stated that they developed a new version of the "road map to unblock the work of the subgroup on political issues". This was announced by Natalya Mikhailova, who calls herself the deputy "Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DNR". She noted that representatives of CADO sent their opus "to the OSCE for distribution among all participants in the negotiations". They were outraged that the OSCE did not provide this "document" to the Ukrainian party for familiarization. As previously reported, the so-called representatives of CADLO are not members of the Trilateral Contact Group, therefore, no proposals coming from this illegitimate structure in the Minsk format are being discussed by Ukraine.
A fire in the mine working which happened at the Zasyadko mine in occupied Donetsk on September 23 continued to be extinguished. Nothing is known about the fate of the missing miner. This was reported by the fake "DNR Ministry of Emergency Situations". "As of 06.00 on 29.09.2021, a person who did not come to the surface was not found. Extensive fire control continues, muck drawing and cooling the lining fuel elements and smoldering rock mass are being carried out. The gas situation is being monitored and sampling of the mine atmosphere is being carried out", - the so-called "DNR rescuers" reported. At the same time, it was written in the separatist segment of social networks that "the fire that occurred in the eastern belt entry brought more serious consequences than previously thought". The local blogger also clarified that the missing 39-year-old D.Afanasyev had not yet been found. The blogger reported that the situation at the mine is critical and, possibly, this accident could lead to the mine closure.
Occupation authorities of CADO posted information on the number of coronavirus cases for September 28 in the free territory of the Donetsk oblast, without focusing on the fact that these statistics are much more deplorable in the zone of occupation. "Almost 700 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the territory of the Donetsk region controlled by the Ukrainian authorities over the past day", - separatist media presented this data as a disaster for the Ukrainian Donbas. At the same time, over the same day, 749 new cases of the disease were detected in the occupied territory, which occupies 1/3 of the Donetsk oblast. 26 people have died. In addition, 377 cases of "usual" pneumonia were identified on September 28, which CADO refuses to recognize COVID-19. Of these, 187 were hospitalized. A total of 3655 patients with pneumonia are being treated, 1106 need oxygen support (+126 over the day).
Another 155 people fell ill with COVID-19 in the occupied Luhansk region over the day, 26 people died. Local mass media wrote this.
More than 236 tons of humanitarian supplies were transported to the uncontrolled part of Donbas on September 29 by 20 UNHCR trucks. This was reported by the Ministry for Reintegration of the Occupied Territories of Ukraine. Twenty vehicles with humanitarian aid, namely: medical equipment and construction materials, passed through the Shchastia checkpoint.
Occupied Donetsk boasted that an organization from the Russian Federation called the International Union of Writers (IUW) had awarded the city the title of a "literary city of international importance". Separatist media wrote this. The basis for such a sonorous title was not reported. It is only known that the festival of science-fiction writers "Stars over Donbass" opened in Donetsk on September 29. Residents of a five-story building in one of the quarters of occupied Luhansk found a grenade on the stairwell. This was said in the message of the so-called "Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LNR". "In the quarter of Heroes of the Brest Fortress, local residents discovered an object on the staircase of the fourth floor of a five-story residential building that looks like a hand grenade", - the message said. The item was later identified as an RG-42 hand grenade.
