Whole microdistrict for displaced persons to be built in Sievierodonetsk - Haidai

Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai has met with Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Donetsk (Dnipro office) Tanja Beyer, the press service of the department reports.

Haidai told the Consul General about the construction of a new service area in Stanytsia Luhanska and informed Ms. Bayer about the general situation in the region.

The meeting participants discussed the aggravation of the security situation, in particular shelling of settlements by illegal armed formations, as a result of which civilian infrastructure was damaged and local residents were injured.

On providing housing for internally displaced persons, the head of the region told that it is planned to build a whole microdistrict for 250 apartments in Sievierodonetsk within the framework of the International Organization for Migration's program, with the support of the German government. According to the project, this will be municipal housing. Also, the construction of two houses for displaced persons in Kreminna is underway, the construction of housing in Rubizhne is nearing completion.
