More than 9 thousand new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine. Donetsk oblast ranks high

9058 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

9058 people fell ill over the past day, including 849 children and 137 health workers. 2060 people were hospitalized and 140 – died.

2415 people recovered on September 23.

82 181 tests were carried over the past day, of which 40 578 – by PCR, 10 574 – by EIA and 31 029 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 379 483 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 240 578 patients recovered and 55 424 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Kharkiv (948), Dnipropetrovsk (889), Lviv (715), Odesa (622) and Donetsk (602) oblasts.

291 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Luhansk oblast.
