7866 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine. Donetsk oblast ranks third

7866 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

7866 people fell ill over the past day, including 667 children and 175 health workers. 2070 people were hospitalized and 123 – died.

2305 people recovered on September 21.

84 935 tests were carried over the past day, of which 41 625 – by PCR, 9742 – by EIA and 33 568 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 370 425 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 237 973 patients recovered and 55 284 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Kharkiv (839), Lviv (685), Donetsk (520) and Dnipropetrovsk (456) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (467).

333 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Luhansk oblast.
