38 hospital bases were opened in healthcare institutions in the occupied part of the Donetsk region due to the tense epidemiological situation with COVID-19. All of them are 100 percent full. This was reported on September 16 by the so-called "DNR Ministry of Health".

"As of today, 38 hospital bases have been organized… Hospital bases are almost 100% filled due to the recorded increase in morbidity, which significantly increases the workload on doctors, thereby complicating the difficult conditions in which they have been working for a year and a half", - the message says.

Doctors emphasize that most of the patients admitted to hospital are not vaccinated against COVID-19, and urge residents to "show consciousness, responsibility for their health and those around them, and make a personal contribution to the fight against the pandemic".

As reported by OstroV, the number of hospital bases for coronavirus patients has been increased in the occupied part of the territory of the Donetsk oblast, but ambulances with serious patients stand idle for several hours to transfer the patient to the department.
