The Cabinet will ask the Verkhovna Rada for additional money to pay out subsidies in 2021. This was reported in the Verkhovna Rada during the hour of questions to the government by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal today, on September 10, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"About UAH 12 billion will be needed by the end of the year. We will ask the parliament to support changes to the budget. The changes will be submitted next week", - he stated.

"Such an opportunity exists, the Ministry of Finance has identified the source. We will work on it", - the prime minister added.

He also noted that out of UAH 35.2 billion, which were allocated for subsidies in 2021, more than UAH 33 billion have already been used.

As reported by OstroV, MPs from European Solidarity, Voice and Batkivshchyna demanded that the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada change the agenda of the hour of questions to the government and listen to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal about preparations for the heating season.
