In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on September 7, two violations of ceasefire by the Russian occupiers were recorded, - the JFO headquarters reported. Russian mercenaries fired at the positions of the Ukrainian defenders from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers in the direction of the settlement of Zalizne. The occupiers used small arms near the village of Zaitseve. There are no combat losses among the Ukrainian defenders. Our defenders returned fire to the enemy shelling.

Occupation authorities of the so-called "DNR" and "LNR" intend to remove "customs posts" between the territories under their control from next month. This was stated in the so-called "LNR customs committee" on September 7. "There will be no customs posts between the "LNR" and "DNR" from October 1", - Yuriy Afanasyevskiy, who calls himself "the chairman of the LNR customs committee", said. According to the separatist media, leaders of the militants Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik stated that the "republics" are establishing "strategic partnership in the tax, customs and economic sectors" and will create a "single economic space".

Three miners who were injured when a cage cable broke off at the Krasny Partizan mine in occupied Chervonopartyzansk (Dovzhansk district) on September 6 are in critical condition. This was announced by human rights activist Pavlo Lysiansky on Facebook. He recalled that 9 miners were killed and 19 were injured. "19 miners received injuries of various degrees of severity, three of them are in critical condition. Basically, people received fractures" - Lysiansky informed.

Another 457 cases of COVID-19 were detected in the occupied territory of the Donetsk region over the day, - the so-called "DNR Ministry of Health" reported. In addition, it was reported that 62 more patients with COVID-19 died over the day. In total, 58 682 COVID-19 cases were detected in CADO during the pandemic. 7793 patients are on treatment (inpatient and outpatient), 4259 patients died. 261 cases of "usual" pneumonia were also detected over the day, which is 125 cases more than in the previous day. Of these, 174 patients were hospitalized.

The channel for smuggling methadone from Kyiv to occupied Donetsk was liquidated by the Security Service of Ukraine. The illegal scheme was organized by an unemployed woman from Kyiv, who brought her "partner" from CADO to the business. They smuggled drugs not across the demarcation line, but across the border with the Russian Federation. Several "parcels" were sent monthly, the cost of each was almost $150 thousand. According to the investigation, the malefactors hid illicit drugs in flowerpot jugs and park and garden sculptures. The packages were handed over through minibus drivers who carry out nonscheduled passenger transportation.

The "DNR" occupiers will introduce a temporary restriction on the movement of vehicles at the checkpoints on the border with the Russian Federation not controlled by Ukraine - Uspenka, Marynivka and Novoazovsk from September 17 to 19. This was reported by the so-called "DNR customs service". This is explained by the fact that in the period from September 17 to 19, it is planned to increase the checkpoints' loading. Residents of CADO and business entities are advised to plan their trips through the above-mentioned "border" checkpoints in advance, as well as "to adjust the routes of cars and trucks during this period at night time from 21:00 to 05:00". As reported, it is from September 17 to 19 that occupation authorities of the "DNR" are launching free buses to deliver residents of the uncontrolled Donbas to the territory of Russia for voting in the election to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
