Ministry of Health forecasts when lockdown may be introduced in Ukraine

The Ministry of Health predicts that a lockdown is possible in Ukraine no earlier than November. This was said by chief sanitary doctor Ihor Kuzin on the air Snidanok z 1+1.

"Ukraine will leave the "green" zone in the near future. We will be forced to introduce the "yellow" zone, where, for example, there will be stricter restrictions on visiting mass events or gyms", - he stressed.

Kuzin called transition to the "yellow" zone "a conditional alarm that the number of potential new cases will grow in the near future".

According to the sanitary doctor, so far there is no specific figure for introducing lockdown in Ukraine.

When asked whether we should avoid a lockdown, he said: "In my opinion, no. But if we talk about the red" level of danger, it will not be until November".
