2477 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

2477 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

2477 people fell ill over the past day, including 179 children and 36 health workers. 787 people were hospitalized, 44 – died.

889 people recovered on September 1.

53 715 tests were carried over the past day, of which 23 522 – by PCR, 7954 – by EIA and 22 239 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 290 848 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 209 754 patients recovered and 53 877 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (309), the Kharkiv (224), Lviv (183), Chernivtsi (148) and Odesa (139) oblasts.

114 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Luhansk oblast and 100 – in the Donetsk.
