President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is going to discuss the topic of the temporarily occupied Donbas and Crimea as first question at a meeting with the U.S. President Joe Biden. The head of state said this in a commentary to Suspilne.

"We will not just have a question-answer. We will have a serious meeting, there will be several sectors of our conversation. It is difficult to say which question to start with. There are many things you want to get not an answer, but a vision. Moreover, the issue is not that Ukraine is asking and America is answering. It seems to me that each party has questions and answers", - he stated.

At the same time, he noted that he is going to start the meeting by discussing the issues of Crimea and Donbas.

In addition, the presidents of Ukraine and the USA will discuss the issues of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline at the meeting.

"We have a sore point of Nord Stream 2. If it is completed, and everyone says that it will be completed, then we will struggle with how it will work. In the case of a working Nord Stream 2, we wanted to agree on specific things and guarantees from the USA", - the head of state noted.

Zelensky stressed that this implies the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation.

The meeting of Zelensky and Biden at the White House will take place on September 1.
