1356 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine. Luhansk oblast ranks high

1356 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

1356 people fell ill over the past day, including 75 children and 31 health workers. 470 people were hospitalized, 51 – died.

1257 people recovered on August 30.

46 014 tests were carried over the past day, of which 21 236 – by PCR, 7031 – by EIA and 17 747 – by rapid antigen tests.

2 286 296 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 207 940 patients recovered and 53 789 – died.

The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (204), the Kharkiv (144), Odesa (127), Luhansk (106) and Chernivtsi (87) oblasts.

59 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Donetsk oblast.
