Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky brings out negative emotions from a third of Ukrainians. This is evidenced by the results of survey "Assessment of personal qualities and activities of Volodymyr Zelensky as President of Ukraine (July-August 2021)" conducted by the Razumkov Centre.

Regarding the affective evaluation, 33.7% of the respondents stated that the President of Ukraine V.Zelensky evokes in them mostly negative emotions, 19.2% ˗ mostly positive, 28.7% ˗ equally negative and positive and 13.9% ˗ does not evoke any emotions.

If we calculate the index of affective evaluation as the difference between the proportion of respondents in whom the president evokes positive emotions and the proportion of those in whom he evokes negative emotions, then this index has improved from -20.2 to -14.5 compared to March.

The study was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Centre from July 29 to August 4, 2021 using the method of face-to-face interviews at the place of residence of the respondents. A total of 2019 respondents aged 18 and over were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of the Crimea and occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, based on a sample representing the adult population in terms of basic socio-demographic indicators. The theoretical sampling error (excluding the design effect) does not exceed 2.3% with a probability of 0.95.
